The Basic Idea of Teen Patti
Teen Patti is a three-card game. Each player is dealt three cards, and the round is about deciding whether your hand is strong enough to stay in. Players act in turn, and a round ends either when only one player is left or when the remaining hands are revealed and compared.
The Flow of a Round
- Cards are dealt — three to each player.
- Players take turns choosing an available action, such as continuing or folding.
- Players who fold are out of the round.
- At the end, the strongest remaining hand wins according to that mode's ranking.
Understanding Hand Rankings
The hand ranking is the most important thing to learn. In many traditional versions, combinations such as three of a kind, sequences and same-suit hands rank above pairs and single high cards. However, the exact order can vary, so open the hand-ranking chart in the mode you are playing and keep it in mind.
Tips for Beginners
- Learn one mode thoroughly before trying variations.
- Watch a few rounds to understand timing and turn order.
- Keep sessions short while you learn so decisions stay clear.
- Remember it is a game of chance as well as decisions — no strategy guarantees a win.
- Play for entertainment and set personal limits.
